The example below are aimed at testing issues of the functionality of Sediment Data Explorer and so will hopefully highlight any issues with its current state.
Units
Retrieving data from different data sources has the potential to have issues with differences in the units used. This example pulls data directly from a marine license application (MLA/2015/00088) and the same data taken from the CEFAS “Dredge Contaminant Seabed Data in UK Waters 1998 - 2022”. These sample only have trace metal and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, so it is only possible to see that these data sets are consistent: TM and PAH unit test
